I think I am keeping up relatively well with my blog for a change - always a day behind but it is easier to write at breakfast rather than when I am tired at the end of the day. I think this could be a long post as we had a full fun packed day on Thursday. The fun started at 7.00 when we went to Chef Mickey's for Breakfast. For those of you who don't realise this time we are staying in one of the best (I actually think it is the best as it has a Monorail going through it and views of the Park - what could be better than this!?!) hotel complex's on Disney Property. We are in the DVC complex but the main Contemporary Hotel also contains some of the best restaurants on property (if not the world on a couple of cases) and therefore they are some of the most costly!! Chef Mickey's is a restaurant when Mickey Mouse and the rest of the Fab Five do the cooking - yes really! Mummy and Daddy said that as we were staying here they would take me there for breakfast and this is what we did this morning. I got to meet all the characters in their chef's outfits. They all seem pleased to see me and Pluto licked my head - silly dog! Of course I wasn't going to stop eating my Mickey Waffles for anyone and so I had my Photo with Goofy with my waffle still in my hand.
After breakfast we headed on a Disney bus to Disney Hollywood Studios. I got chatting to a family on the bus and the little girl had done a lot of the same things as me so far and liked the same bits but I had been braver going on Goofy's Barnstormer :)
Once we had got into the park (bag checks were very thorough and slow today!) I noticed that the giant Sorcerer Mickey Hat was half gone. Mummy and Daddy say that it is being removed :( I am a little sad but apparently it was only supposed to be there for a few months but it remained there for years!!
We headed straight to Playhouse Disney just in time for our fast pass and as I scanned my magic band (they really are cool) a cast member said "Do you watch Disney Junior?" Hello does he not know me of course I do I live in a disney obsessed house. Of course I politely and quietly said yes and he asked if wanted to be the 1st person of the day and open the doors of the Disney Junior Live Building. They asked me lots of questions about the Disney Junior shows and I was able to answer them all and more. They looked at Mummy and Daddy and said I was impressive!! I had to say Meeshka Moushka Mickey Mouse and the doors opened. I was taken in at got to sit right at the front in the centre had the room to myself until they started letting people in. Mummy and I sang the Sharky and Bones song from Jake and the Neverland Pirates with all the actions along with a cast member. Mummy needs to work there she was better than the cast member and got a High Five (she is sooo embarrassing!!). I got a certificate confirming that we were the first family for the Day there and I got Gold dabloons from Jake and the streamers from Minnie's Party. On they way out I found the cast member to say thank you for the experience and he gave me some stickers to take away.

It was raining when we came out and luckily I could go and meet Sofia the first next as she was undercover and we could keep dry (well apart from our shoes where Mummy walked us through a giant puddle - she is a total nightmare to be with sometimes). Sofia commented that we had the same coloured hair and she thought I was cute!
We headed over to Toy Story Mania where we had our next fast pass booked. We were a bit early so strolled to Pixar Place. There were 2 Toy Soldier's from Toy Story walking around and I played Peek a boo with 1 of them who was hiding behind a tree then peeking round and waving at me. The nice thing about this time of the year is that the crowds a relower and the cast members can be more interactive in different ways. I am not so keen on the full on character experiences but love interacting in this kind of way it is good fun.
We stopped for lunch before the surprise fast pass time came. Mummy wouldn't tell me what it was but we passed Muppets along the way and so went in there to see their show. I like this show but sometimes I jump at the 3D effects.
I then found out the surprise fast pass was to watch A Frozen Celebration Sing-a-long (Daddy was not quite as excited as me!!) - It was sooooo amazing (I am saying that a lot while I am here!) and I sang all the way through. The Arandale Historians are very funny and we got to see Kristoff as well as Elsa and Anna. Anna had a different voice than when I met her last time so I am not exactly sure what is wrong with her!?!
We stopped off for a refreshment break (including a cupcake for Mummy!!) and then headed out of the park and onto a Friendship boat that took us to Epcot. It was busy and Mummy and I couldn't sit with Daddy initially. We sat with a couple who were from South Carolina and I talked to them nearly the whole way!! They liked my accent and thought I was cute too (Mummy and Daddy are hoping this cuteness will travel back with us to the UK and that it isn't just some disney magic effect).
I said thank you to the Sailorman on our boat (Daddy pointed out he was a captain not just a sailorman - whoops) and he gave me a friendship boat card. It definately pays to be polite and cute in Disney you never know what you will get.
We walked around the world while at Epcot. I'm not sure I quite understood the concept of this I wanted to see Duffy bear not walk around the world, it sounded like a long trip to me. In the end it wasn't too long before we reached Duffy bear who's heart I stole and I think he wanted to take me on his travels with him.
We headed into the Land to eat in the Season's restaurant where I had the most normal meal of my Adventure so far - Chicken leg and mash. I am not keen on trying all this other food and try to stick to Chicken Nuggets but this Season's meal was good and I will have that again. Mummy and Daddy enjoyed the Pork Chop and Mash too.
I then went on a boat journey to learn about living with the land and see how disney grow food to serve in Disney World. It was cool and they had baby alligators in there too!!
It was then time to head back home as it was getting late and I had been walking all day thank goodness for the monorail going to the resort as I didn't have to wait in the cold (yes it is also cold here) for a bus.
Well there that was a long post and a long day - hopefully not too long for you.
Friday holds another adventure this time in the Serengeti as we head to Animal Kingdom but I hope that we will be back in time to head into MK for another ride on Barnstormer.
Chat soon
Love Amelia xx
