Our first full day here was full of frozen fun in more ways than 1! Today's task was to meet Elsa and Anna.
Many of you will know that "the only" reason for coming to Disney in my mind was to meet the Arandale Royalty who are also staying here in WDW. Now they are soooo popular we were unable to get fast passes to meet them and the queues are always quite long (you have to remember Mummy and Daddy NEVER queue more than 30-45 mins for anything when here!!) so Operation meet Elsa and Anna from Frozen started at 8.30 (would have been earlier but we couldn't open the safe to put our passports etc in so had to wait for a Fix it person!).
The temperature here is a little cooler than hoped so jumpers are required. A lot of the cast members are dressed in winter coats which seems strange to see!!
We used our magic bands to enter the park - it is really cool and a lot easier and quicker than with tickets and we walked straight to Princess Fairytale Hall. The Man at the entrance told Mummy there was a 130 minute wait!!!!! Once in the queue Daddy then reminded Mummy we hadn't got an autograph book or pen yet so Mummy had to jump out of the queue and into the shop quickly!! (well there was plenty of time really when the queue is 130 mins). I really enjoyed people watching and updating my blog in the queue and then we were at the front (Daddy said it was only a 60 min wait) but it was totally worth every minute!
I met Anna first and she was very chatty and took my hand and led me in. She has an A embroidered on the back of each boot and says they are for Arendale but that now 1 is for Anna and 1 for Amelia and said I was an Annary Sister (she asked Mummy and Daddy if they got the joke - they said she needed to take a job on the Jungle Cruise with jokes like that!!). This is what she is telling me in this pic.
I then got to meet Elsa - she was much more regal but I guess she is the Queen of Arandale!
I got both of their autograph's in my book and the whole experience was "totally amazing".
After a stop over in Rapunzle's kingdom (RaRa sorry none of us can remember what her kingdom is called you will have to remind us!!!) we went and rode it's a small world and I sang all the way around.
After lunch we went to watch Mickey's Philharmagic I was a little scared then I brought my Anna dress (I love it and it has plenty of growing room!) and then we headed back to our room for a sleep as it had been a really long day getting here and I was up at 4.30am Florida time. After a few hours Mummy woke me and we went off to have some Dinner in Contempo cafe in the Hotel. After we had eaten we got onto the monorail and headed into the Magic Kingdom for a couple of hours.
My Mummy and Daddy know all the tricks and within an hour we rode on Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan and the Carosel as well as seeing some of Wishes (the fireworks show I had watch from the room last night). All of these rides normally have a minimum queue wait of 45 mins through the day and we just walked onto all of them!!
After getting a Tinkerbell light up spinny thing (yes Mamar I got one this time :)) we walked home (we can do that as our Hotel is right next to Magic Kingdom - I can't get over how cool that is!!) this evening it wasn't quite as cold as when we arrived which was good.
I have had and Amazing first day here and look forward to telling you more of my adventures tomorrow.
Love Amelia xx
