My First Parade

Today we chilled a little first thing and then we went to Downtown Disney. We were supposed to be going for breakfast but it ended up being lunch! We went to Wolfgang Puck's Cafe and Mummy and Daddy really enjoyed their meals. They say it is always good food from there.

After a wonder around the Lego store - lots of colours and people to look at there, we headed over to Magic Kingdom arriving in time for me to see my first Parade. There were lots of people there to smile at (yes I have decided if I give a cheeky smile people talk to me, I'm also trying the poke my tongue out and blow raspberries techniques - I will report back on my success). I got really excited when the music started and then dancers, Characters and floats came along. Lots of the characters who were walking came and tickled me and all the princess' waved at me and blew kisses. The bigger children next to us were shouting - I have no idea why and I missed a few things in the parade trying to work out what the noise was about!

I also went on a jungle cruise - the driver needs to go to clown school to learn so much less cheesey jokes!

We paid our respects at the flag service (well I listened to the music and bottom trumped along!!) Some people had tears coming from their eyes - including Daddy but I couldn't see anything to cry at - I had my elephant to shake so all was fine for me! Daddy told me I should listen carefully to it all for when I become an American and drive the Disney trains (which I have heard but not seen or ridden yet!)

After eating my tea and covering myself and Daddy in poo (very funny must try that again!) and both getting cleaned up! I went on a monorail (an electric train - very cool!!!) to Epcot. We travelled on the Tron Train which Daddy was excited about - I have no idea why or what this Tron is so I went to sleep. I understand that Mummy and Daddy ate around the world showcase. This time they had muscles, potato gratin, Chedder Cheese soup, Chicken Chipotle Sausage and corn polenta washed down with Moosehead beer (not all together or that would be rather disgusting). Grandad would love the food and wine festival and I look forward to bring him and Grandma here in 2012 :)

It was then home on the bus to bed.

Today we are going to Animal Kingdom where I am going to learn that it is tough to be a bug and try BBQ meat :)

Love to All
Amelia x
